2024 Member Survey

Over 100 BCoE members responded to our recent survey, below are some of the key findings and your recommendations and suggestions for us!

How willing would you be to recommend BCoE?

How would you rate the online training available from BCoE?

You Said, We did…

“BCoE to produce articles on matters relevant to the bus industry.”

We want “More information/blogs about current priorities”

— We have created dedicated webpages to collect information on key topics such as BSIPs and the use of Bus Data and are arranging workshops to disseminate the information further. New blog authors are being identified to cover key topics.

“Events are quite difficult to access to due sheer number of steps involved in registering for the event… Lot of time wasted simply trying to book a place”.

— A new way of organising webinars has been trialled using a method that does not require attendees to register with Teams prior to an event.

“Please provide training on bus operations”

— We are working on producing online courses covering topics such as bus timetabling and driver rostering.

“The events need promoted better, and they need to be open for booking much earlier than they have been.”

— Eventbrite is now being used for people to register for events and booking open as soon as a day has been set.

“Streamline comms. It's a lot and very erratic .”

— Emails will be restricted to one a week, alternating between events calendar and general BCoE update.

“There needs to be better, clearer, integration of the website..”

— Website sections are being refreshed and the resources section is being redesigned to be easier to search and find information.
