Under-Graduate Programs

Britannia College of Excellence offers all the under-graduate courses on a full time basis. Under-graduate degrees involve a total of 360 credits. The classroom study involves a total of 320 credits and a dissertation submitted in the final semester with a total of 40 credits.

1. BACHELOR IN COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY(BCT):

 

Aims of the Course:

  • This course focuses on the application of computers and computer technology in engineering environments.

  • Career opportunities in computing have been expanding rapidly for many years.

  • The computing skills required by industry are challenging and continually changing.

  • The course gives the students basic and practical knowledge of programming,systems administration, project management. This course provides practical training in all of these areas: it will develop your knowledge of current methods and techniques and set you on the path to a successful and rewarding career.

Course Structure and Syllabus :

The course will be basically divided into 3 levels with two semesters in each level. Each level represents a year of study. Examination is held at the end of every 6 months. The classroom study involves a total of 320 credits and a dissertation in the final semester with a total of 40 credits.

      2. BACHELORS IN COMPUTER NETWORKING (BCN):

 

Aims of the Course :

  • This course focuses on the design and manages computer networks and applications to a company's business needs. Its content and structure are designed to provide students knowledge in the areas of data communications, computer networks, software tools and techniques.
  • The course produces graduates with practical skills to solve complex computer network problems and to implement network infrastructures according to the business and industry standards.
