Britannia College Of Excellence offers all the postgraduate courses on a full time basis. Postgraduate degrees involve a total of 180 credits .The classroom study involves a total of 140 credits and a dissertation submitted in the final semester with a total of 40 credits.

1. M.SC. IN INFORMATION SECURITY (MIS)

 

Aims of the Course :

  • The course is designed to introduce the technical, legal and commercial aspects of Information Security.
  • It is intended as a foundation for a professional career, as well as for postgraduate research, in Information Security. Graduates of the degree are expected to find employment in both industry and commerce as security experts, and the need for such experts is likely to be very high for the foreseeable future.

Structure and Syllabus :

The course will be basically divided into two semesters l. Examination is held at the end of every 6 months. The classroom study involves a total of 140 credits and a thesis in the final semester with a total of 40 credits. The student has to submit a dissertation at the end of the course for the fulfilment of his Masters Degree

2. MASTERS QUALIFYING PROGRAM (MQP):

AWARDING BODY : BRITANNIA COLLEGE OF EXCELLENCE

Aims of the Course :

  • The Master Qualifying program is aimed at students from a non-computer background to take mainstream computing careers. The Qualifying aims to bridge the gap between a non-computing background student and a computing graduate.

Course Structure and Syllabus :

The course will be basically divided into two semesters. The examination is held at the end of every 6 months. After the completion of the qualifying program, the student should be able to apply for any of the M.Sc. courses offered by the college.
