Graduation Foundation Program

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:

Awarding Body : Britannia College of Excellence

Aim of the Course :

Graduation Foundation Programme (GFP) provides the students a thorough base in the basic business disciplines and the field of Information Technology.

The Objectives of the Foundation Programme in Information Technology are:

  • To develop the student's written and oral communication skills
  • To develop the students interests in modern computer fundamentals, software development and using the Internet.

All students are required undertake a full time study period for nine months and take the final examination.

Course Structure:

Semester 1 :

  1. Computer Basics
  2. Learning Hardware
  3. Basics of Software and its development
  4. IT communication

Semester 2 :

  1. Computer Statistics
  2. Basics of Electronic Commerce
  3. Introduction to World Wide Web (WWW)
  4. Internet and its modern applications.

All the students will be assessed through continuous classroom assignments, participation and internally set final exams.

Duration and Type of the Course : 9 months ,Full Time.
